2012New Umbrella Rigs Alabama Rig
Medel | Length | Head weight |
AlabamaRig-07 | 17cm | 10g |
The fish head is constructed from impact resistant plastic, not lead. Its design allows you to spread out the “arms” into various positions with the “circular” being the most popular. By leaving the slightly longer wire in the middle and spreading the rest of the wire an equal distance it forms a pattern that will now resemble a school of bait fish when rigged.
With this rig you will be catching more than one bass at a time it has 5 wires and sometimes this rig catches up to 4 bass per cast.
The 4th quarter of 2011 was the big breakout and just the start of the umbrella rig frenzy. Seeing multiple fish hooked and landed on one rig just opened up a whole new era in Bass Fishing as we know it. Kick started by Paul Elias winning the Lake Guntersville FLW tour open and then Dan Moorehead winning the 2011 Everstart Championship on Kentucky Lake, it is no wonder the bait has been in such high demand.
The bait is very versatile and can be rigged with a wide variety of lures such as soft plastic swim baits, jig heads and small spinner baits. It can also be rigged with your favorite lures for bottom fishing such as Texas rigged worms, creature baits and jigs. Your imagination is the limit on the variety of techniques and lure presentations to be used which fish have not seen before. This product is Lead Free. Check with your state law regarding the legal use of this product since it is designed to fish up to 5 baits at a time.
